Sigma Sigma Commons is a green-space that connects MainStreet with Campus Green and the residence halls on the east side of campus. It is a six-acre openspace that is a wireless internet zone.

The angular terraces of Sigma Sigma Commons form a 3,500 seat amphitheater for events ranging from concerts to outdoor movies.

The 65-foot Ronald F. Walker Tower of Light marks the transition from Sigma Sigma Commons to Campus Green. It is intended to symbolize the fruitful collaboration between the university and Sigma Sigma fraternity. It also pays homage to the many contributors who helped transform what once was a parking lot into a peaceful and pleasing open space.

Sigma Sigma Commons is part of a six-acre open space that provides a setting for campus festivals and commencement celebrations.
