Architect Henry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, blended historically significant buildings with new construction to increase space for CCM activities while also creating dramatic outdoor areas and an interior pedestrian "arcade."

Rehearsal and performance spaces range from chamber music venues to grand opera stages. Its theaters and recital halls, electronic media center, theater production workshop, administrative offices, classrooms and café host guest artists and students from around the world.

A $5 million renovation to Corbett Auditorium in 1996 transformed the 738-seat hall in the performing heart of CCM into an elegant concert hall. This auditorium is fully equipped with complete stage and lighting facilities for the presentation of choral, orchestral and wind concerts, ballet, opera, musical theater and recitals.

UC offers more performances annually than any other venue in Ohio. Many of them take place at CCM.
