탄자멘 대학교 쎈터, 또는 TUC는 켐퍼스의 한 가운데에 자리하고 있습니다.
이 건물고유의 1935년도 시계탑을 갖고있는 건물이며, 높이 솟은, 90피트 아트리움에 의하여 제공되는 자연채광이 들어오는 건물입니다.
TUC는 식당 카페뿐만 아니라, 음식 코트를 가지고 있습니다. 또한, TUC는 200석의 영화관, 게임실, 연구라운지, 면담공간과 신시내티 대학교 서점이시도 합니다.
맼미킨 콤몬( McMicken Common)은 UC의 “자유 연설” 지역의 하나이며, 그리고 많은 연설가들이 이 공간에서 공연을 합니다. 이곳에선, 집회와 학생중심의 행사를 포함하여 수많은 켐퍼스 행사들이 여기에서 열립니다.
맼미킨 홀은 맼미킨 예술 및 과학대학(McMicken College of Arts and Science)의 본거지이기 때문에 대부분의 UC학생들이 친근하고 익숙하게 여기는 장소입니다. 문학 또는 역사와 같은 일반 필수 교육을 위하여 맼미킨 홀에서 강의를 받아야 합니다.
Tangeman University Center, or TUC, is at the very heart of campus. It is filled with natural light provided by a soaring, 90-foot atrium crowned by a skylight and by the building’s original 1935 clock tower, a landmark for generations of students.
TUC houses a popular food court on the second floor, as well as a café for sit-down style dining. Also, TUC is home to a 200-seat movie theatre, a game room, study lounges, meeting space and the University of Cincinnati Bookstore.
McMicken Commons is one of UC’s “free speech” areas, and many interesting speakers have presented in that space. In addition, numerous campus events happen here, including rallies and student-orientation events.
McMicken Binasi, çoğu UC öğrencisinin hemen aşina olduğu bir binadir çünkü McMicken Fen - Edebiyat Fakültesi bu binada yer alir. Dolayısıyla hangi fakültede olursanız olun edebiyat ve tarih gibi zorunlu derslerinizi McMicken Binasinda almaniz muhtemeldir.
