Here is basically what happened at the last meeting (9/12)

• Need a new Treasurer
• Need to fill all officer positions
• We now have FTP access to the web site
• The door lock and keypad work again
• Repeater is still down. Eric Landrum is working on fixing it
• Repeater codes will be given out at the next meeting with payment
• We missed student orientation but, have a chance to do "carnival"
• We may not have to move out of Swift until the end of Spring quarter 2002
• I have quotes for a HF verticle antenna
• We need to get our free space in the News Record utilized
• I will be graduating in a year. I would like to have ballots in by February's meeting, vote in March. This will allow the next person to have a few months of support before I graduate
• Next work party discussed
• Run like Hell is coming up on the 26th of October. This will be right before the time change this year
• Mail needs to be looked at more often
• Next meeting will be October 10th. I will be in lab at that point.

Meeting Decisions

• Rick will be attending the treasurer's workshop on the 26th of September at 15:00. If not, I will go.
• UC Carnival is coming up on the 25th of September. There is no fee to participate but, the forms need to be filled out. The forms are in the mailbox and need to be returned to Tayna Roach at SOA. Please let me know if you're interested or when the forms are submitted
• The News Record is very interested in the stories of clubs that are being displaced without a destination. This seems like it would be an excellent way to make our case for a new home. They are interested in talking with past and present members of the club.
• Next work party: 7th of October (Sunday) at 15:00. We are going to get a jumper built to get the ICOM back on the air. We are going to run a line over to the packet room and use the dipole. Also, an inventory will be done. Another thing will be to do some more cleaning.
• Since we have a working access system, please send me an email and I will be happy to give you the access code.
• Rick (kc8apf) is interested in getting computer parts together for the packet system. There have been a number of offers of equipment. Please email him at kc8apf@kc8apf.net.
• There are 4, 2 L bottles of pop and cups on top of the fridge. If you want pop, please leave $0.10 / cup
