License classes will be planned again for this quarter. We intend to ask professors in Electronics, Signals and Systems, and Physics to provide extra credit in the same manner as last quarter.
Dr. Carter has been working with us on the new location. He is attempting to get a meeting scheduled with Marc Petullo. These efforts have not yet yielded any progress.
Possible activities for this quarter were discussed.
LARC has been asking about having some UCARC members present some wireless antenna designs and theory at one of the meetings near the beginning of Winter quarter. Mark (KC8KHL) will be presenting this on Tuesday January 25th. There is still work to be done on antennas and the presentation. Contact Mark if you would like to help
The club repeater is still in need of some work. All interested in helping are invited to meet on Thursday January 13th at noon in 802 Rhodes (the ECECS Lounge) From there we will go to the repeater location in Calhoun.
