SAB wants to keep liasons to monitor club activities during the year (to help membership--or so they say).

If you schedule an event, don't cancel the room--show up and have the event with no one there. If you cancel, you're fined $600.

Club is registered with UC as of this morning.

Repeater is up and working, autopatch works fine. We need to start looking into buying new fans on the repeater.

Website needs to not use graphics for content.n Picture pages needs the pictures separated with something, and the categories need their own pages.

Why not buy w8yx.org and host it elsewhere so we can use scripts? The services are handled locally versus remotely so control is always there even if the person with access moves away. E-mail address is being fixed in the next few days.

Still waiting on contractor stuff for the tower. Mark is e-mailing Rick.

Weekly meetings proposed, versus biweekly. No decision made.

Jeremy Smith from solar array decathlon is here, wishing to help do the grounding for the room.

Double doors are suppose to be open at the end of the hall.

Events we wished to schedule are:
Technician level class

• 6 weeks until end of quarter
• let's do thursdays 3 weeks in a row, overlapping meetings
• Nov 2, 9, 16
• E-mail to Carter to have it sent to ECE and CS students

Lecture series

• don't want to go overboard and too technical (e.g. antenna design)
• how to use a radio
• good times to talk to people on satellites
• public affairs

Satellite Communications day

• link it with the lecture series in the spring when its warmer

Get parts for Collins, Mark knows what parts we need
Movie nights (to remain unannounced due to public showing law) will be in the office or the president's house
Get a microwave for food (no, don't use all the radios here to do that)
Picnic stuff
