The Web gives University of Cincinnati staff, faculty and students the opportunity to promote UC's educational opportunities, research excellence and diverse activities to a local, regional and international community that includes alumni; friends; current and prospective students, faculty and staff.

Web Communications' Role
- Provide expertise in developing and designing UC Web pages and sites.
- Provide all communications-related administration for the university's
- Approve departmental requests for space on the university's main Web server.
- Oversee and maintain Web-related policies and procedures.
- Market and promote the university through messages and images on UC's "top-level" Web pages.
- Ensure a user-friendly Web experience by providing a consistent, intuitive navigational flow through the top-level pages of the site.
- Develop university-wide Web strategies and initiatives.
- Provide resources for university Web developers.
