Supervising PhD thesis project for a PhD graduate Student from Faculty of Medicine, Assuit University, Assuit Egypt. The title of his thesis project is"Evaluation of the role of mucosal immune responses in HCV infection". He collected samples from HCV-infected patients with and without successful treatment and controls. He is investigating correlate of mucosal immune responses with HCV pathogenesis and response to therapy in my laboratory at UC. Data collecting from his study will be published in collaboration with researchers in Egypt.
