SPAIN: 2014 Summer Program in Madrid (Faculty-led)

This program is aimed at beginners, intermediate, minors and Spanish majors and earns up to 13 total credits (10 transfer credits + 3 UC credits for SPAN 3083 Spain Today). SPAN 3083 (in either English or Spanish) will be taught on site by a UC faculty. Registration in SPAN 3083 is mandatory. Business Spanish is also offered by our partner (price may be higher).

When can I go?

May 12-June 20 (6 weeks program; 13 total credits)
May 12-June 6 (4 weeks program; 9 total credits)

Students who participate in this program will be out of the country for less than 9 weeks.

Important Program Deadlines:

Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Final deadline to submit an application: Friday, January 10, 2014. Accepted students are required to pay a $525 deposit on or before January 14, 2014. Deposit is fully refundable before April 1st if student cancels his/her participation in the program. Final payment of remaining balance: March 22, 2014.

    $2,800-3,200 aprox. (including UC's tuition & fees, local tuition and 15 MLTI 300 Study Abroad fee)

    $880 approx. (Romance Languages program fee; field trips, ISIC card, local transportation...)
