SPAIN: 2015 Summer Program in Madrid (Faculty-led)

This program is open to beginners, intermediate, minors and Spanish majors & minors and earns up to 12 total credits (9 transfer credits + 3 UC credits for SPAN 3083 Spain Today). Registering in a summer session of SPAN 3083 (offered in either English or Spanish; taught on site by a UC faculty) is mandatory.

When can I go?

May 11-June 19 (6 weeks program; 12 total credits)
May 11-June 5 (4 weeks program; 9 total credits)

Students who participate in this program will be out of the country for less than 9 weeks.

Important Program Deadlines:

Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Final deadline to submit an application: Friday, January 9, 2015. Accepted students are required to pay a $550 deposit on or before February 2, 2015 and will be considered the first installment of the full payment. Deposit, payments and block grant will all be processed via your OneStop account. Deposit is fully refundable if student cancels his/her participation in the program within one week of having paid the deposit. After that date, UC cancellation

    $2,800-3,200 aprox. (including UC's tuition & fees, local tuition and 15 MLTI 300 Study Abroad fee)

    $980 approx. (Romance Languages program fee; field trips, Health Insurance, ISIC card, local transportation...)
