The Women’s Leadership Conference
The Women’s Leadership Conference is an annual forum for all women of the University of Cincinnati community. Organized by University Conferencing, the WLC provides the opportunity to develop and enhance the leadership potential of women at all levels.
Sponsored by the Ohio Inter-University Council, this leadership development opportunity is open to all faculty and administrators seeking entry-level academic positions. This opportunity prepares leaders for colleges and universities in Ohio, and participants will gain a clear understanding of responsibilities and make valuable networking connections amongst the Ohio public education community. Focus on Women: Women in Student Affairs Conference (WISA)
Sponsored by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Region IV-East, this conference is open to all who wish to attend. Alice Manicur Symposium for Women Aspiring to be Senior Student Officers (SSAOS)
Sponsored by NASPA’s Center for Scholarship, Research, and Professional Development for Women, this conference is open to all women in mid-level managerial positions contemplating a move to senior student affairs positions in the near future. The conference will offer training in strategic thinking, leading change, planning career advancement and continual development, and personal and professional life balance. American Council on Education (ACE) National and Regional Leadership Forums
ACE/OWHE National Forums are open to women administrators who plan to move into presidential, vice-presidential, major deanship, or other comparable senior executive positions in high education, while ACE/OWHE Regional Forums are geared toward moving women into associate deanships, deanships, and associate academic officer positions. Higher Education Resource Services (HERS)
HERS Intitutes offer intensive residential development programs for women in mid and senior level positions.
