Leadership Development for Faculty and Staff

American Council on Education (ACE) National and Regional Leadership Forums

ACE/OWHE National Forums are open to women administrators who plan to move into presidential, vice-presidential, major deanship or other comparable senior executive positions in high education, while ACE/OWHE Regional Forums are geared toward moving women into associate deanships, deanships and associate academic officer positions. Higher Education Resource Services (HERS)

HERS Intitutes offer intensive residential development programs for women in mid and senior level positions. Programs are offered at the following locations: Bryn Mawr College, the University of Denver and Wellesley College. Institute dates and application deadlines vary by location. Ohio Academic Leadership Academy

Sponsored by the Ohio Inter-University Council, this leadership development opportunity is open to all faculty and administrators seeking entry-level academic positions. This opportunity prepares leaders for colleges and universities in Ohio, and participants will gain a clear understanding of responsibilities and make valuable networking connections amongst the Ohio public education community.
