Explore the history of America's native spirit from its commercial birth in Louisville, Kentucky in the late eighteenth century to the vast popularity of bourbon today. Join distiller, Aaron Haslam for an insider's view of the production process, the difference between "bourbon" and "whiskey," and what the requirements are to be legally classified as this local favorite. Aaron will entertain you with some good bourbon myth-busters and share ways in which you can enjoy cocktails at home. Samplings from local Northside Distilling Co. and other bourbons will be enjoyed.

Aaron Haslam is the CEO of Northside Distilling Co. With a law degree and a passion for handcrafted whiskey, his operation is the first distillery to open in downtown Cincinnati since prohibition.
