Who doesn’t love the tangy flavor, chewy texture, and delicious crust of sourdough bread? In this class, you will learn how to work with a sourdough starter, the live fermented culture, which acts as a natural leavening agent. You will learn how to mix and fold bread dough, how to shape and handle loaves, and how to score and bake bread. Students will leave with a fresh sourdough starter and the know-how to keep it going so you can create delicious bread at home. Learn from expert baker, Michelle, how to get professional results at home with your hands and an oven!
About Your Instructor
Michelle Kovach has baked bread for almost her entire life. She took the plunge to bake bread full time when she founded Crackling Crust Microbakery. She specializes in helping home bakers learn the skills to get professional results.
