Anxiety is a major issues in our culture and the goal of this class is to educate and correct misinformation about it. With the aid of worksheets and handouts, you will be encouraged to explore a greater understanding of basic human emotions, and be guided through techniques to help you label and connect with those emotions. Once you learn to feel the physical and body connections, understand impulses, and the images connected to those emotions, you will have tools to better manage your feelings of happiness, sadness, fear and anger. Additionally, this course will help you to recognize anxiety as an alarm system to intense or repressed emotions, and offer insights into gaining a deeper understanding of yourself.
