Crochet Level 1 & 2 Plus Refreshers
Our long-time instructor, Camielle Howard, offers a suite of casual classes to learn the art of crocheting. From never having picked up a crochet hook to advanced patterns and stitches, you can explore your skills, leaving each class with a finished project you can be proud of.
CROCHET: LEVEL 1 (6-weeks)

If you’ve never picked up a hook before, or you learned a long time ago but don’t know how to get started again, this is the class for you! Students will learn the basics (chain, single, half double, and double crochet), as well as an introduction to common crochet abbreviations and how to read patterns. Students who feel comfortable can complete a simple scarf in this class.
Bring these supplies: Worsted Weight yarn is most appropriate for this class along with an H (5.0mm) or I (5.5mm) hook, and stitch markers.
CROCHET: LEVEL 1 refresher (3-weeks)

If you know how to crochet and just need a quick refresher before moving to one of the intermediate classes, start here. This is an accelerated course covering the full 6-week beginner course in half the time.
Bring these supplies: Please bring a hook and worsted weight yarn unless you have used another weight and are comfortable with it, and bring stitch markers.

This course will cover more pattern reading, increasing and decreasing stitches, and crocheting in the round. A hat, granny square blanket, or a cocoon cardigan is the project in this class.
Bring these supplies: Baby (3), Double Knit (DK) (3), worsted (4) , or bulky weight yarn (5) for this class. Hooks G (4.0mm), H (5.0mm),
I (6.0mm) and J (6.5mm), are all appropriate for this class; and bring stitch markers.

This course will cover everything in the Crochet 201 course in 3 weeks. Students will complete a hat and either a granny square blanket or cocoon cardigan during this class.
