Grading Deadlines

Fall Semester 2019

  • Full Semester: December 18 @ 5:00 pm
  • All other sessions: 72 hours after final exam

Spring Semester 2020

  • Full Semester: May 6 @ 5:00 pm
  • All other sessions: 72 hours after final exam

Summer Semester 2020

  • Full Semester: August 12 @ 5:00 pm
  • All other sessions: 72 hours after final exam

Fall Semester 2020

  • Full Semester: December 16 @ 5:00 pm
  • All other sessions: 72 hours after final exam

Grading Scales

Grade Submission Policies

  • Grades are to be submitted within 72 hours after the final examination.
  • Grading deadlines are posted both on the Dates and Deadlines Calendar available to students and in the list above each semester
  • All grades and grade changes must be submitted via Catalyst, except in the three instances indicated below.
    1. To record a grade for a student who added your class after the end of the term, you will need to send a Change of Grade Form to the Registrar’s Office.
    2. To change a lapsed I/F grade, you will need to submit a Change of Grade Form.
    3. To change a grade to record a retroactive withdrawal, you will need to submit a Change of Grade Form.

Change of Grade Forms

To maintain the integrity of grades, only faculty may obtain Change of Grade Forms from the Office of the Registrar. Because of this, the form is not made publicly available. Please email us at reginfo@uc.edu for an electronic copy of the form.

Forms submitted to the Office of the Registrar by students will not be accepted.
