First Year Change Major

The First Year Change Major Application allows you to request to change your major prior to your first start term. Please read the following First Year Change Major instructions carefully, before starting your application.

Changing an Existing Major to a New Major means that you no longer wish to pursue your current major and would like to work towards earning a different degree. This removes the current major from your degree plan and replaces it with the new selection if approved.

Please note that once you select to change your major, you may not be able to revert to your prior choice of major, or college. To see if your major has been closed for the current term, visit the Undergraduate Admissions Closed Programs page.

After May 1, incoming First Year Studentsstudents who have never attended college since graduating high school and have confirmed their admission offerwill be able to use the First Year Change Major Application.

If you have attended college since graduating from high school, or if it is prior to May 1, please contact Undergraduate Admissions to request any changes at or 513-556-1100.
