Accessibility Basics: Microsoft Word 

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn basic skills and strategies for creating accessible Microsoft Word documents.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Understand how a screen reader reads documents
  • Apply basic accessibility techniques to a standard word document
  • Integrate basic accessibility techniques into your own word documents
  • Identify where to  find more information about accessibility

The Center for Excellence in eLearning (CEeL) announces the opening of its new weekly walk-in services for University of Cincinnati faculty called Canopy Creative Space. Instructors will have accesses to experts in instructional design, accessibility, classroom technology, Canopy tools and more.
