Zoom is the web conferencing tool available for all current UC faculty, staff, and students. Instructors may hold class meetings or office hours in Zoom. Students can also hold meetings in Zoom.
Kaltura is UC's media storage and media creation tool. It is available within Canvas or from college/departmental Kaltura MediaSpace (KMS) sites. Students can also create media using the screen capture software called Kaltura Capture.
Echo360 facilitates the active engagement of students before, during and after class. If an instructor uses Echo360 students can interact with the instructor’s content in many ways. For instance, students can flag confusing content, answer questions, and take notes on an Echo360 video.
LinkedIn Learning is an online educational resource for UC students that helps you discover and develop business, technology, and creative skills through expert-led course videos.
WebEx is a web-based video conferencing tool. Instructors may use WebEx to hold entire class meetings where students participate with video and audio. While the video meeting is in progress students and instructors have the ability to text chat, share screens, use whiteboards, record the meeting and more.
