VCURC was established for revitalization of the Short Vine commercial area serving Corryville residents, including the development of an entertainment district between Uptown Campus and Medical Campus of the University.   The project will include transforming old structures into spaces that would serve as a showcase for music, arts and design while offering a wide-range of retail, dining and housing.  The property portfolio that had been owned by VCURC was sold to Uptown Consortium in 2008.  Uptown Consortium can provide further information on the Short Vine business district development.
