Celebrate the University of Cincinnati’s Bicentennial and the 50th Anniversary of the CCM Musical Theatre Program. This exclusive UC Celebration in NYC includes excursions to Macy's Parade Design Studio, architectural tours, a dinner cruise around the southern tip of Manhattan and other exciting outings to museums and exhibits. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited.

Visit Macy’s Parade Design Studio where imagination reigns!

Transportation will depart from Archer Hotel at 9:30 a.m. to take you on a 30-minute trip to Moonachie, New Jersey where in a 72,000-square-foot warehouse you will see the facility that builds an American and holiday tradition. You will visit the design and production room and see how workshops, floats, paint and balloons are all part of building the Macy’s Parade Floats. John Piper, VP, and UC CCM alumnus is our host for this exciting adventure.

This excursion is limited to 30 people; includes round trip transportation; cost to attend is $50.00 per person.

Transportation will depart the Archer Hotel at 12:30 p.m. and take you on a round trip journey to 1 Hotel and INC to meet Drew Stuart, DAAP alumnus and founder of INC, a multi-disciplinary, architecture and design studio, with a wide range of projects that specializes in the integration of the design disciplines. Drew will guide us through a tour of 1 Hotel before we tour the INC offices. He has designed and executed private residential interiors, homes, hotels, spas, restaurants and condominium developments. He works from conception to realization, always maintaining a balance between design and constructability. You will also have an opportunity to hear from co-op students at INC. This excursion is available on Friday, April 12 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.

This excursion is limited to 30 people; includes round trip transportation and a boxed lunch; cost to attend is $45.00 per person.

The Frick Collection

The Frick Collection

The Frick Collection is housed in the former residence of Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919), designed by Thomas Hastings and constructed in 1913–14. The collection includes paintings, sculptures and decorative arts of the highest quality. The private tour will last up to an hour. Visitors not seeking a private tour are welcome to visit the museum on their own.

This excursion is limited to 6 people per private tour; cost to attend is $50.00 per person. Visitors should pursue their own mode of transportation to the museum.

Spirit Cruise
6:30 - 9 p.m.

Enjoy a cruise around the southern tip of Manhattan, a dinner buffet and open bar while meeting UC alumni from the area.

There is no cost to attend. Visitors should pursue their own mode of transportation to Chelsea Pier.

Join UC President Neville G. Pinto for an evening of Boldly Bearcat spirit, featuring an exclusive preview performance of the College-Conservatory of Music’s Musical Theatre Showcase in iconic Gotham Hall. The performance is preceded by a cocktail reception and dinner and followed with dessert where you can meet the cast.

Transportation is not provided; the venue is in walking distance from the Archer Hotel; there is no cost to attend.
