My current research and interests include assessing racial trauma and race-based stress in people of color, understanding the intersects of identity in African American Women, eating disorders, and working with students from historically marginalized communities. I am excited about collaborating with the UC community to bring workshops and outreach programming that provides people of color a platform and space to discuss their lived experiences.
Approach to Therapy
I believe in developing authentic and genuine relationships with people by simply showing up as a human being. My role as a psychologist is to help students identity their own values as I walk alongside them in the process to help pull out and mirror those values and personal strengths.
