Boasting one of the largest Service-Learning programs in the world with over 6,000 students per year, the NEXT Apprenticeship Program provides SERVE-IT Solutions. This innovative program provides non-profits the option to have their computing and informatics-based projects, such as website development or database management, completed in a cost effective and mutually impactful way.

As the University of Cincinnati seeks to expand our impact within our community, connecting nonprofits with our well-trained student talent is crucial to this success. Once students complete courses designed to prepare them for computing and informatics related apprenticeships, they will practice their skills in on-the-job-training with real world projects.

Non-Profit employers can hire students as apprentices and use wage assistance to help offset their costs for hiring apprentices. Up to $1,000 can be provided for each hire
