Ready for Research PD2055/ENGR2055

Ready for Research: Multidisciplinary Approaches and Opportunities is a 1-credit course designed to help you clarify the research experience you seek and effectively pursue it.

About this course:

  • All majors welcome
  • Fall Semester, in-person only
  • Meets Wednesdays, 3:35-5:00 PM
  • Main Campus location TBD
  • 24 students max
  • Students will discuss discuss research culture and research papers, interact with researchers, and develop materials to access reseach opportunities.
  • We believe that the learning environment we create is as important as the content we teach. Our awareness of structural ‘isms and our multiple privileged identities influences our approach as educators. We hope to cultivate a classroom experience where everyone actively engages because it’s fun, encouraging, and rewarding to do so.

We hope to attract students from diverse humanities and STEM disciplines. You will be permitted to enroll as long as there are seats available for your major. Permission will be confirmed via email.
