BCP Student Ambassadors

The BCP Student Ambassador Program brings together students who are excited about helping their peers and serving their community. Ambassadors are integral members of the BCP, helping with everything from day to day operations to the implementation of large-scale projects. This program is designed to be an enriching opportunity for students who are excited about fighting food insecurity and would like a structured way to engage on and off campus.

Expectations: The BCP and Resource Center Ambassador Program was created to bring together students who are passionate about serving their community and fighting food insecurity. The BCP cannot run smoothly without regular volunteers so we ask Ambassadors to complete at least 2 shifts per month.

Tasks: We ask BCP Ambassadors to work on a wide range of tasks that include, but are not limited to: checking visitors in and out; organizing, cleaning, and sorting the shelves; scanning in donations and food bank orders; restocking and conducting inventory assessments; conduct tabling events and information sessions; help with campus outreach; helping out with projects on an as-needed basis; and more!

Timeline:
