Summer 2020 Application Process

The COVID-19 Waiver Process for University Housing remains in place through the 2020 summer semester. Any student who wishes to reside in UH must have an approved waiver PRIOR to application. Processes for current and new residents follow.

A complete Summer 2020 Housing Application is required for residency in University Housing (UH) beyond Saturday, May 2, 2020.

Summer residents with approved waivers are eligible to purchase a Campus Dining Pass for carry-out meals from On the Green (OTG).


Undergraduate Housing

Current Residents

Current residents on an approved waiver will be contacted via phone and email by University Housing staff to confirm their intent. Waivers will be automatically extended for those indicating a need to remain in housing during any portion of summer semester 2020, up to August 8.

New Residents

New residents must complete a COVID-19 Waiver Request and receive approval prior to completing a Summer 20 Housing Application. 

Approved room rate and fee schedules will apply. COVID-19 Waiver Requests will be submitted through the University Housing Portal. Residents must have UC-issued credentials to submit a waiver request.

Review and notification of decision will be provided five (5) business days of receipt of request. Consideration for approval will be given for any student able to demonstrate extenuating personal circumstances.

All residents with an approved waiver must review and acknowledge receipt of the COVID-19 Advisory through the University Housing Portal.

COVID-19 Waiver Request Process for New Residents
