Pride Ambassador Program

The Pride Ambassador Program seeks to build a connection with students who want to represent the University of Cincinnati LGBTQ Center and cultivate their leadership capacities. This program seeks to provide students with the opportunity to get involved in Center programming and initiatives, while becoming better informed on LGBTQ and allied topics and concerns. Pride Ambassadors will further develop their leadership skills in the core areas of social justice, education, and advocacy. Pride Ambassadors will spend the academic year assisting the Center by reaching out to students on campus and creating a safe space for those who need it most. They will also be the first point of contact for new students and visitors. Pride Ambassadors will develop and design outreach projects, advise the LGBTQ Center on important issues, and serve as mentors to LGBTQ students to assist in connecting them to the larger LGBTQ community, both at the University of Cincinnati and the greater Cincinnati area.
