Melanie Buford

Professional Experience

After graduating from Wesleyan, Melanie completed an AmeriCorps term of service with Public Allies.  She served at Year Up Bay Area, an organization dedicated to preparing 18-24 year-old disconnected young adults for success in the workforce.  Afterwards, she worked as a Corporate Project Leader for HandsOn Bay Area, planning and managing high-impact community service events.  She returned to the east coast for a master’s degree in Human Development and Psychology, after which she worked as a Career Advisor at Wesleyan University. She came to UC in 2014.
