Glendale Comprehensive Plan

The Community Design Center led a planning research effort for Glendale, Ohio, America's oldest planned suburb and National Historic Landmark. Working with private consultants in Historic Preservation, Traffic Engineering, and Natural Resource Management, the Glendale Comprehensive Plan described a planning framework for this community to mitigate the effects of encroaching suburban sprawl, internal growth and the pressures of modernization on the historic fabric of the Village.

Substantial funding was provided by the National Park Service of the United States Department of the Interior and the Ohio Historic Preservation Office of the Ohio Historical Society
