The instructor for this PMP® Certification course is David Hatter. Hatter is an accomplished business technologist with nearly 25 years’ experience as a software developer, business analyst, project manager, instructor, speaker, author, and entrepreneur. He has been directly involved in the design, development, and deployment of roughly 200 custom software solutions, and is especially good at bridging the business/technology chasm thanks to superb communication and technical skills. Hatter is, also, a highly-motivated learning junkie who is constantly working to improve his skills though self-study, certification, and teaching college level courses. Hatter's professional certifications include: Project Management Institute's, Project Management Professional, Professional in Business Analysis and Agile Certified Practitioner; Professional Scrum Master 1 and Scrum Developer 1, EXIN; ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, and CompTIA: Security+, Network+, Project+, i-Net+, e-Biz+ ... just to name a few.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: get started with project management fundamentals; identify organizational influences and project life cycle; work with project management processes; initiate a project; plan a project; plan for project time management; plan project budget, quality, and communications; plan for risk, procurements, and stakeholder management; execute a project; manage project work, scope, schedules, and cost; control a project; and close a project.

Also, this course qualifies for three academic credit hours awarded by Cincinnati State. Please contact Sean Johnson for more information.

This course schedule is delivered in a modified boot camp style, so a lot of information is covered in each class session. Once registered and payment has been received, you will receive pre-class work (approximately two weeks before the first scheduled class session). You will need to remain diligent in readings and assignments to receive the most from the class.
