Faculty Enrichment Center's Programs

The Faculty Enrichment Center (FEC) serves as an intellectual and social commons for faculty. The FEC often holds special events and welcomes all current and former faculty to attend. The events can range from guest speakers, to showcases, to panel discussions, and more. Visiting Writers Series

The Creative Writing Program's Visiting Writers Series brings a number of distinguished authors to campus each semester. Visitors often conduct a colloquium with creative writing students in addition to giving a public reading. Past visiting writers have included Nicholson Baker, Charles Baxter, Alice Fulton, Terrance Hayes, Antoyna Nelson, Robert Pinsky, Tracy K. Smith, and Colson Whitehead.
