Conference Travel Awards: Presenter

Starting May 1, 2019, the GSGA will accept Conference Travel Award application materials (including pre-travel authorization form) ONLY through E-mail.

All application material must be sent only to the GSGA Treasurer (gsga-treasurer@mail.uc.edu).

This does not apply to CECH and CEAS students.

The GSGA Conference Travel Presenter award is for students who wish to present their research at a conference/workshop (poster/paper/oral presentation).  A student can receive up to a maximum of $500 per conference/workshop.

CEAS and CECH applicants, kindly contact the respective college officials as mentioned here.

 

Please follow the below mentioned steps to complete your conference travel application.

Pre-Travel


After Travel

Kindly follow the steps below and email the entire Presenter Travel Award Application packet to the GSGA Treasurer <gsga-treasurer@mail.uc.edu> with the email subject titled "Presenter Conference Travel Award Application Packet".

Please ensure to include all the documents (preferably as one pdf document) in the same email within 14 calendar days of the end of the conference.

Late submissions will be rejected. If you need more time, you must contact the GSGA Treasurer before the 14-day deadline to apply for an extension (no more than an additional 7 calendar days).



Reimbursement

After the GSGA has processed your documents, your travel award will be reimbursed to your Catalyst account for the respective semester.
