Flexible Spending/Health Savings Account
The Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) provide a simple way to save money on eligible health care and dependent care expenses. Using an FSA can help you budget for these expenses. And, the money you contribute to your FSA does not get taxed, which means you save money!
Health care debit card information:
- If you enroll in a health care FSA for the first time (either as a new hire or during Annual Enrollment) a “Benny” debit card from Chard Snyder will be mailed to your home address.
- ”Benny” cards are generally valid for 5 years until the expiration date on your card. Funds will be re-loaded onto your card each year in which you enroll in a health care FSA.
- FSA funds are loaded onto your existing card on January 1 if you elected a health care FSA during the November Annual Enrollment period.
- Need a replacement card? Log onto your health care FSA account through Chard Snyder to order one or call Chard Snyder at 513-459-9997 or 800-982-7715. Make sure your address is up-to-date through your ESS account.
Do you have extra money in your Healthcare Flexible Spending Account? Hundreds of products are FSA eligible. You can even shop online though Chard Snyder’s FSA store.
A Health Savings Account (HSA), available only to High Deductible Health Plan members, lets you control how you save, invest, and use your healthcare dollars.
