Learn It Live: Digital Detox

The stats are in: we are addicted to our phones - and it's affecting us.  In this session you will learn about the 7-day Smart Phone Detox Challenge.  Pop sugar and have widely shared this challenge to get people to break common habits and addictions associated with smartphones.  Before the season of gatherings with loved ones, take time to take a step back by disconnecting with the “noise” of life to reconnect with others around you.

Research shows that despite being more connected via technology, we are finding ourselves disconnected from others with fewer opportunities to interact face to face. The Staff Success Center and Be Well UC hope to help you develop personally and professionally as you learn, share and connect with colleagues over relevant and thought provoking content from articles, TED talks and books. Topics and themes may change – but the conversation will always be engaging, dynamic and foster community.

The first Thursday of every month in the Fall Semester, Kimber Andrews will lead a Yoga As You Are session. These brief sessions will help you refresh while reconnecting with colleagues from our community. Those eligible will earn 10 Be Well UC points if you sign in!
