Preventive Screenings

It’s time to be proactive about your health! Having regular, preventative health screenings are an important part in staying healthy and catching issues before they become serious problems.

As a benefit of our health plan, preventative screenings are free of cost, and we encourage you to take advantage of them!

Here is some helpful guidelines of when to get screened. Always be sure to consult with your doctor about recommended screenings, results, and treatment plans and options.

Having one "home" for your medical needs can improve your health, as records can be reviewed over a longer period of time to watch trends and can better relate your medical history. Take the time to find a PCP - Find a doc close to home or to work - whatever you find most convenient.

Take advantage of many resources available to UC faculty and staff to help quit or reduce tobacco use, as all campus property will be Tobacco Free as of May 1, 2017.

  • FREE Quit Line service with online and phone based counseling
  • NRT therapy covered via Anthem health insurance/ACA
  • Up to 5 FREE counseling sessions & an online Quit Center from Impact Solutions, EAP
