Student Diversity & Inclusion Council

Our purpose is to advocate for diverse voices, to create spaces for discussion in order to foster inclusion, to implement innovative approaches to promote equity on campus, and to develop a sense of community among all students at the University of Cincinnati.

As the university moves forward, we strive to cultivate a culture of inclusivity and equity on campus that ensures #NextLivesHere is an attainable reality for all students.

The ideal candidate for SDIC will possess the following:

  • Passion for representing the mission and values of the Division among the student body
  • Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the campus community
  • Experience in DEI education, community outreach, and service learning

All full-time students registered at the Clifton, Blue Ash, or Clermont campuses with a 2.0 GPA or higher are eligible. Once on the Council, attendance at Council meetings and activities, outreach and service, and Division-sponsored events is required for continued participation.
