Information Security Awareness Week (ISAW)

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month and is dedicated to create a safe, secure, and resilient cyber environment. This year marks the tenth anniversary of National Cyber Security Awareness Month sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Alliance and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center.

The IT@UC Office of Information Security (OIS) is one of many entities that participates. OIS has held Information Security Awareness Week (ISAW) annually since 2009 to help promote the month and spread awareness to the university community so that UC may work towards a more secure future.

Additional information about National Cyber Security Awareness Month can be found by visiting the Department of Homeland Security's website.
