COVID-19 Updates: uc.edu/publichealth
UC International is dedicated to supporting projects that extend the university's global reach. To that end, we have several grant opportunities available for faculty and staff who want to develop internationally-based programs.
Please visit each page to learn more details, deadlines, and application requirements for each of our grant opportunities.
Faculty-Led Study Abroad
Each year, UC International Programs offers grants to faculty members interested in designing and leading study abroad programs. We currently offer the following grants:
- Development Grant: Intended to support faculty by providing funds for on-site travel to aid in the development of new study abroad courses.
- Mentoring Grant: Provides funding for faculty / staff who are interested in leading a study abroad program to travel with and be mentored by an experienced study abroad faculty leader.
- Block Scholarship Grant: Provides faculty leaders running study abroad programs with scholarship funding for committed students on their program.
Study abroad programs should be strategic, articulating with an established plan for internationalization within a college or department, and integrated into the department's offerings. Faculty should develop programs in collaboration with their department. Interested faculty should contact Anne Sheridan Fugard, Executive Director, UC International Programs.
The International Planning office provides support for the development of new collaborations with a counterpart at one of our Strategic Partner institutions.
Our Faculty / Staff International Incentive Grant provides funding for travel to a strategic partner institution. The Visiting Scholar Program provides funding to faculty from our strategic partners to visit Cincinnati and work on projects with a UC counterpart.
