Each year, UC International Programs offers grants to faculty members interested in designing and leading study abroad programs. We currently offer the following grants:
- Development Grant: Intended to support faculty by providing funds for on-site travel to aid in the development of new study abroad courses.
- Mentoring Grant: Provides funding for faculty / staff who are interested in leading a study abroad program to travel with and be mentored by an experienced study abroad faculty leader.
- Block Scholarship Grant: Provides faculty leaders running study abroad programs with scholarship funding for committed students on their program.
Study abroad programs should be strategic, articulating with an established plan for internationalization within a college or department, and integrated into the department's offerings. Faculty should develop programs in collaboration with their department. Interested faculty should contact Anne Sheridan Fugard, Executive Director, UC International Programs.
