University of Bordeaux

The University of Bordeaux (UBx), which was founded in 1441, is one of strongest strategic partnerships. Ranked among the top French universities, UBx shares UC’s priorities of global engagement, diversity, collaboration, discovery, innovation and professional orientation. The international ambition of the University of Bordeaux concerns all of their academic fields whether it be education, research, innovation or the transmission of knowledge. Via exchange programs, joint projects and strategic partnerships, they constantly strive to further promote their global identity and reputation.

With so many things in common with UC, UBx was a natural choice for a strategic partnership. UC faculty and administrators have visited UBx and welcomed their UBx counterparts. Students have collaborated with each other via transnational class projects. With the University of Bordeaux, UC finds new opportunities to expand and strengthen our academic programs.
