Works the computer sales floor. Actively talks to customers and answers questions on hardware and software with the intention of asking for the sale.

Front Desk Assistant Expand

Student Assistant - Graduate & Family Housing Expand
Assist with all aspects of the leasing program for UC managed monthly rental apartments, including managing tenant surveys, offering apartments and generating leases. Maintain waiting lists of prospective apartments. Update tenant and booking information for monthly rental apartments in housing information system. Assist with daytime lockouts at UC-owned apartment complex as needed. Answer tenant phone and email inquiries.Aid with apartment turnover process through inspection of apartments and communication of facilities needs to proper personnel.
Resident Apartment Manager (RAM) Expand
The RAM serves as a liaison between the tenants, Housing and Food Services, The Graduate School and Uptown Rentals.
Communication Check email, texts, voice mail and other communications each weekday and respond within 24 hours or requested timeframe. Send tenant concerns or issues relating to service and facilities to the AD on a timely basis. Provide AD with announcements regarding upcoming events around campus that may be beneficial for apartment tenants. Post periodic bulletin boards in lobbies to inform tenants of university and community events as well to provide educational/personal support.
Property Operations Show apartments to prospective tenants. Perform routine observation of apartment complex common areas. Promptly notify AD of concerns that need to be addressed (e.g., snow removal, safety hazards). Check condition of apartments pre-arrival or post-departure. Assist in preventing unauthorized, illegal or improper use of facilities, grounds and parking.
Student Graphic Designer Expand
Create layouts, design, and production for university auxiliaries under the supervision of the Campus Services Marketing Department.
Must be a student majoring in Graphic Design @ DAAP.

Student Marketing Assistant Expand
Assist the professional marketing staff with marketing materials production, website updates/revisions, communication plans, data collection and market research, video content and production, social media content development and tracking, and other duties as assigned.
We provide professional work experience that provides a broad range of skills to students who are pursuing marketing-related careers. Must be at least a second-year student in Marketing at the Lindner College of Business or Communications major in the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences.
MainStreet Connection Center Assistant Expand
Be the face of the university as a student worker at the campus information desk. Knowledge of university/campus/city to assist customers with questions or problems. Troubleshoot and solve issues with Bearcat Card accounts and assist with Bearcat Card merchant relations. Cinema operations and concessions sales on movie nights and scheduled special events.
Open to sophomores and up.

TUC Event Staff Expand
Assist the building supervisor with general event preparation, set-up, take-down, and oversight. Have basic knowledge of AV systems, basic AV troubleshooting, and of scheduling systems to review reservation setup details and plan for transitions of spaces between reservations and facility events. Complete scheduled inventories of equipment and execution of operational policies and procedures.
