WCPO: Professor Expects Ohio to be Campaign Battleground

The 2012 presidential race is likely to be closely contested in Ohio, and University of Cincinnati political science professor Patrick Miller says it could come down to who has the stronger volunteer effort in his campaign. President Barack Obama’s re-election team recently opened a campaign office in Cincinnati, and Miller told WCPO reporter Jenell Walton that decision shows the importance of establishing an early presence with grassroots campaigning.
