UC School of Information Technology To Host Annual IT Expo

IT faculty, students and area high school students will showcase their projects and research to local businesses and the general public at the April 10 event in the UC Campus Recreation Center.

The annual Information Technology Expo, hosted by the University of Cincinnati School of Information Technology, will be held in the UC Campus Recreation Center on Tuesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

A major celebration and showcase of School of Information Technology student innovation, the expo showcases IT projects by the senior class of the IT bachelor's and master's degree programs
, high school students, applied research centers and industry. The projects are focused on cloud solutions, infrastructure and networking solutions, cybersecurity, mobile development, application development, virtual reality and gaming, and data management and analysis.

The IT Expo allows attendees to explore these projects while also providing opportunities to network with program faculty and top IT professionals from businesses such as Worldpay, Macy’s, Fifth Third Bank and CBTS.
