Learn and earn wellness dollars on Sept. 24

Prep for annual enrollment by attending the Sept. 24 “Be The Change” event sponsored by “Be Well UC.” Schedule your flu shot, movement screening and more. Plus, learn about Cincinnati history, Social Security, Medicare and yoga.

Take a moment to pause and re-energize with Be Well UC, UC’s employee wellness program later this month. Stop by the second annual "Be the Change" event on Tuesday, Sept. 24 anytime between 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  Whether you stay for 30 minutes or longer, we hope you and your colleagues will leave more refreshed.

Event Highlights

Check out what will be offered, and mark which offerings you plan to be a part of today:

  • The first 150 to check in at Registration will get a "Be Well UC" gift.
  •  First chance for flu shots from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in University Hall 455.  Schedule yours today.
  • Free 10-15 minute movement screenings with Airrosti.
  • Give back to Bearcats in need with donations to the Bearcats Pantry.
  • Engage in 30-minute sessions, such as:
    • Yoga As You Are
    • Little Known Facts about Cincinnati History
    • Understanding Medicare with the Social Security Administration
    • Understanding the Social Security Windfall Elimination Provision with the Social Security Administration
    • Saving for the Holidays with Apprisen
    • Prepare for Annual Benefits Enrollment Now with UC Benefits
  • Discuss ways to maximize your employee benefits with a UC Benefits Specialist.  Annual Enrollment is in November.
  • Chat and meet with the Staff Senate, Faculty Enrichment Center, Communiversity, Staff Success Center, UC Bicentennial, and more.
