Text/Email: UC Alert: ALL CLEAR Officers checked area of Dabney Hall, there is no current threat to the campus community. Normal activities can resume.

 

In addition, Public Safety sent a UC Aware email later in the day on April 11.

Dear UC Community,

Here are additional details following the emergency alerts sent out earlier today. 

At 12:30 p.m., the University of Cincinnati communication’s center received a report of shots fired near Dabney Hall. 

UC Police responded, and that investigation is ongoing, making use of all available evidence and accounts. Currently, there are no reported injuries due to the incident.  

The suspect in this case fled away from campus. At this time, it’s believed that those involved have no affiliation with the university.
