CBC: Feast of Carols is a "best bet" for Cincinnati holiday performances

Cincinnati Business Courier lists CCM Choral's holiday concert as a favorite festive event

Bring family and friends to enjoy the annual Feast of Carols concert at UC's College-Conservatory of Music and get into the holiday spirit. Named in the Cincinnati Business Courier's top "10 best bets for Cincinnati's performing arts this season," the concert is presented at 2 and 5 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4 in CCM's Corbett Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office; student and group discounts available.

This festive concert has been a Cincinnati tradition for over 100 years, and showcases performances by CCM’s Chamber Choir, Chorale, Concert Orchestra, the UC Choruses and the Cincinnati Youth Choir. This year’s celebration also features amazing guest choirs from Lakota East High School, Sycamore High School, Walnut Hills High School and the May Festival Youth Chorus.

Audiences should come prepared for an evening of some of the most iconic classics, jovial favorites and sparkling new holiday carols, including selections such as O Come All Ye Faithful, I Saw Three Ships, Jingle Bells, Hark the Herald Angels SingI’ll Be Home for Christmas, and more.

The concerts on Saturday, Dec. 3 feature guest choirs from Sycamore High School at 2 p.m., and Lakota East High School at 5 p.m. The Cincinnati Youth Choirs performing on Dec. 3 are CYC: Bel CantoCYC: Con Brio and CYC: Combinato.

Guest choirs featured on Sunday, Dec. 4 include Walnut Hills High School at 2 p.m., and the May Festival Youth Chorus at 5 p.m. Sunday’s Cincinnati Youth Choirs include the groups CYC: Bel CantoCYC: Voci and CYC: Voci di Amici.

All of CCM's ticketed events will have digital programs instead of printed programs. QR codes will be displayed at events to give access to the digital programs to patrons. The programs are also accessibile through the link below. Programs for events will be shared shortly via the website below before the event date.

Parking is available in UC's CCM Garage (located at the base of Corry Boulevard off Jefferson Avenue) and additional garages throughout the UC campus.
