Changes Await UC Clermont Students This Fall

As autumn quarter classes begin at UC Clermont College on Wednesday, September 21, students will be greeted with some exciting changes on campus.  In addition to an ever-increasing college enrollment, construction has been completed on the new student activities center and is underway on the West Woods building, a substantial addition to the existing Peter-Jones building.

UC Clermont opened its doors to more than 2,700 students last fall, and administrators are hoping to increase enrollment in 2005 as well by offering more than 50 associate degree and certificate programs in a wide range of subjects.

Clermont College is a regional campus of the University of Cincinnati and an open admissions institution, providing access to higher education to anyone with a high school diploma or equivalency. UC Clermont’s rolling admissions policy allows students to begin their educational journey any academic quarter: autumn, winter, spring or summer. With an average class size of 24, and a student/faculty ratio of 19:1, Clermont students receive individual attention needed to succeed in a collegiate environment.

Clermont College is located on 91.2 acres in Batavia Township in the heart of Clermont County. The college serves residents of Adams, Brown, Clermont, Hamilton, Highland and Warren counties.

Potential students can still apply for admission and register for autumn classes. For more information, contact UC Clermont’s Registration Office at 513-732-5218 or visit UC Clermont’s home page at www.ucclermont.edu. Current students can register online at www.onestop.uc.edu.
