Clermont's Frigard Receives National Recognition

 Kelly Frigard, Assistant Professor of Art at UC Clermont College, earned third place honors for her artwork "Paper Angel," at the National Handweaver's Guild of America conference in Grand Rapids, Mich.  

 

Frigard’s work was part of an international show entitled "Celebrations," which was juried by Mary Fisher, a nationally recognized textile artist. 

 

Frigard is a mixed-media textile artist who has spent significant time in Scandinavia developing her craft.  Most recently, Frigard has shown her work at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville and regularly shows her work at 1305 gallery, Mica gallery in Cincinnati, and the Artisans' Center at Maple Creek.
