Fashionista Rankings: UC s Fashion Program Makes the National Cut

The University of Cincinnati’s fashion design program, part of the

internationally ranked

School of Design, housed within UC’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), was recently included in rankings of the top 20 fashion design programs in the nation.

Those rankings were released by

Fashionista.com

, a New York City-based online publication that covers the world of fashion.

According to the publication, “We looked at data, jobs procured, opinions of people in the industry and standout program offerings. We also wanted to show you that great schools aren’t limited to NYC – you’ll find colleges located in all parts of the country.”

The bottom line on UC’s fashion design program, according to the publication, was:

“The design program, in general, consistently ranks as one of the best in the nation. While this is a fashion design program, there’s a strong focus on business and marketing aspects.”
