VIDEO: Student s Creative Spark Results in One Cool Video

University of Cincinnati digital design student Mark Gerlach recently created the above music visualization video as part of his Motion Design II class in UC’s

internationally ranked

College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP).

He explained that the assignment was an exercise in using music/sound to generate an animation with little to no manual keyframing.

“The best part of the exercise was the freedom of creativity. We could literally create anything that fulfilled the simple requirement of ‘make it work.’ Our class really had fun with this,” he said.
