Nippert Stadium's new West Pavilion opened in September and expanded one of America’s oldest collegiate stadiums from 35,000 to a roughly 40,000-seat capacity. New Report Finds Conservatives Demonstrate More Self-Control Than Liberals

Evidence from three studies uncovers a "critical difference" in self-control as a function of political ideology. Using Amazon Mechanical Turk Service, UC’s Joshua John Clarkson, assistant professor of marketing in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, studied students at two Midwestern universities and 135 people across the U.S. Survey results reveal that conservatives show more self-control when they believed freewill was viewed as beneficial, however, liberals outperformed more when they believed freewill could undermine self-control.
